Debbie originally applied for my 40 Over 40 Project Women’s Photography Session and then pulled out shortly after, which I was devastated about because I knew how much fun it would be working with her in the studio. So I was over the moon when she changed her mind again and jumped in with both feet!
Initially, Debbie came to my studio in Horsford, near Norwich to have a styling consultation and discuss the styling we were going to do to make her five ‘looks’ represent her, her life, and her personality. The concepts we discussed were so fun – glitter, bold colours, fairy lights, a twist on the ‘regular’ lawyer and, not to mention, pop art! With a bold colour scheme and those red sunglasses, I knew we were onto a winner and the whole series of those images look so great.
ABOUT DEBBIE’S EDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:
We had so much fun during Debbie’s photoshoot! We turned on the tunes, got the snacks in and stock-piled all the glitter we could – I’m still finding pieces in the studio months later!
Debbie’s hair and make-up was Lina Hallberg Makeup doing what she does best and she even got a hand cameo going on this session for the pop art images, which I will share at another point Nice one Lina, you’ve been promoted! 😆
I’ve been waiting a long time to share these with you and I’m so pleased that I finally can! I could have shared with you all of them because I love them so much so it was hard choosing just a handful.

After the session, I set about editing the session and it made me smile all over again. Debbie loved all of the photographs when she came for her reveal session and chose a fine art print and a large, glossy wall art to remind her of it which looks absolutely lush.
